Dulamkhorloo Baatar

Hey, I’m Duuya!

My School of Splice goal

I want to build a simple website to clarify our mission and support the needs of a community of transformative media in Mongolia.

Call me Duuya. I run an NGO called the Nest Center for Journalism Innovation and Development in Ulaanbaatar. Connect with me on LinkedIn.

In this program, I’m learning

  1. How to build a branding strategy for our work

  2. How to articulate and create a website that supports the work we do

What I’ll need to do

Ask our community specific questions to figure out what they need help with, and what they want to see from Nest. What is the top service you’d like from us? What problem can we help you solve?

Write a “job description” for our website, eg. Showcase the case studies and research we’ve done.

Create a simple wireframe for the website.

Test a simple prototype with our users. I’ll ask them: Does this plan help you find what you’re looking for? Is it structured in a meaningful way?

Improve on the prototype. Go back to the wireframe, make the changes.

Start building out the website.
