In this program, I’m learning

  1. How to test a simple newsletter with a potential audience

  2. How to gather feedback from them, and improve on the product, and

  3. How to grow my subscriber base

 

What I’ll need to do

I’ll make a list of 1-2 things I want people to get out of each of your newsletters


I’ll ask my intended audience: Is this what you want from a parliamentary briefing newsletter? What’s missing here? What needs better explaining?


I’ll improve on it by incorporating some of the feedback.


I’ll then send out the improved one — this time to a wider audience.


Now it’s time for me to create a simple one-page website where people can sign up. There’s only one single call-to-action here: Subscribe. 


I’ll run a cheap campaign on Facebook and Twitter to see if I can get more traction. I’ll watch for feedback — is this resonating with my target audience? Why? Why not?
