INDONESIA

If you're looking to make a dent as an independent media company in Southeast Asia, you'll need stronger business skills to get you there.

MDIF is looking for five media outlets from the region to join its Southeast Asia Technical Assistance Initiative. The Initiative, which has been running as a pilot for the past year, matches media participants with regional business coaches, tailor-made for each media in order to increase their long-term financial sustainability.

If you are interested to learn more, join this session with Tessa Piper, a British national who has worked in the media development sector and living in Southeast Asia for the past 25 years, and Gabriel Sugrahetty, who combines a journalism background with two decades of experience managing the business side of media operations at one of Indonesia’s leading independent media, Tempo.
