Nandar

Podcaster, Feminist Talks

MYANMAR

G-Taw Zagar Wyne is a nickname given to Nandar. In English, it means a woman willing to speak up and start a dialogue. She translates it as “boss lady”.

We first came across Nandar on a New Naratif podcast about her work. This 25-year-old podcaster in Myanmar wants to change the way society talks about feminism through audio. She’s at Beta to talk about how she’s doing this and the challenges she’s faced along the way. This session will be especially useful if you’re starting a podcast, or building a mission-focused media startup.
